Art & Illumination: Transforming Your Experience at 21cOKC with Hotel Lighting Designer Illuminationworks
For its fifth 21c Museum Hotel, hotel lighting designer Illuminationworks developed a lighting design that plays a critical role in the transformation of a former Ford Model-T assembly plant into a contemporary hospitality experience that is unique to Oklahoma City.
The client brief called for the lighting to unify public spaces, galleries and guest floors whilst sensitively emphasising historic features of the building. The creative solution satisfies the individual requirements of a boutique hotel, destination restaurant and arts centre.
The 16,500 sqm project contains 135 hotel rooms, bar, spa, ballroom, conference centre and 1,300 sqm of exhibition space.
