Fashionable hair and beauty brand Paul Edmonds has opened its Battersea location. The lighting design of the expansive salon, created by Illuminationworks, balances specific technical requirements of the stylists, such as precision cutting and colour mixing, with luxurious atmosphere and calming mood.

Waldo Works Designs Wartski's New London Boutique Using the Golden Ratio

Founded in 1865 in North Wales, the venerable Wartski is a dealer of antique Russian artwork, particularly those by Carl Fabergé, and the jeweler to the British royal family. It’s fitting then that architecture studio Waldo Works centered the design on a time-honored concept: the golden ratio.

A Wardrobe Makeover: Marc by Marc Jacobs' Showroom Gets an Update

Jaklitsch/Gardner Architects blew open the floor plan, tearing down walls to liberate the run of windows along the rear-a move that meant locating executive offices elsewhere. He also demolished a restroom hogging another luminous corner.

New York-based firm Jaklitsch/Gardner Architects have recently completed ‘My Boon‘ a 6,700 square foot lifestyle boutique in Seoul’s Gangnam neighborhood. The retail space is divided into three zones; fashion, apparel and footwear; a juice bar and cafe; and a gallery featuring personal accessories and objects.
