For the the transformation of a 20th-century getaway on Anguilla’s Barnes Bay into a 21st-century beachfront paradise with stunning ocean views and charming interiors, Illuminationworks delivered a lighting scheme that helps create personal space within the large complex. Exposed structural ceiling elements are uplit to provide indirect lighting throughout the interior spaces. The many landscaped areas are lit to accentuate architectural elements, such as uplights on columns, while seating areas are lit with lanterns. Steplights are used in other exterior circulation zones. The low level lighting used throughout enhances the relaxed environment with gentle uplighting.
