Illuminationworks has played a role with lighting Marc Jacobs boutiques from the very first Marc Jacobs Collection store in the West Village NYC in 1999. During their major expansion period from 2004 to 2014, we served as lighting designer for over 75 shops around the world with projects in North America, Europe, Middle East & Southeast Asia. These included flagship locations for Marc Jacobs Collection boutiques and numerous stores for the diffusion line, Marc by Marc Jacobs.

As the brand matured, we were involved with various lighting scheme rollouts, including Little Marc Jacobs (children's), Book Marc (books/periodicals), even a few cafes and regional showrooms. The lighting design played an important role in bringing all of the various Marc Jacobs brand elements together with a sense of continuity and a playful, industrial aesthetic.
